After a very difficult week I have finally finished a commission for a wedding card. I have added two pullable tags with messages for the bride and groom.

This a second card for my other granddaughter whose birthday is in May. As I am about to take up a full time job I am making a stock of cards I will need in the next few months for my dearest ones. Hope you like xx
Hello friends!

Sunday now and we have some sunshine again, that's good. I am posting a picture of a card I just finished for my Granddaughter, Ella's, birthday in April. I hope you like it!

Hello everyone. I have been wanting to make and exploding box for a long time but have never really seen very clear instructions until I read them in my copy of Craft Stamper magazine. I had some 12x12 papers in my stock I could use. I did have to go to Sir Stampalot for the 4th piece which is always such a hardship! I am delighted with the results and love the colours. I would like to devise an interesting centre for the box but these flowers will do nicely for now.

This card is for an unconventional couple hence the colouring! Sarah's invitation to her bridal shower weekend showed the bride and groom with skulls instead of faces!

Here are a few more of the girly easy kind!
Hello everyone, another week gone and hasn't it been warm and springlike?

Here are a couple more cards for the boys . I am still trying to get a style I like for this difficult category.

Saturday 10 March 2012

Another week gone by and Spring is definitely in the air. I love this time when it is still a bit cold but sunny most days. It feels hopeful to me and in the garden everything is waking up and coming into bud.

I have some more cards to share, I hope you like them. Have fun.  Sue xx

Sunday 4 March 2012

Hello friends, hope you are all well and happy. It is raining today quite hard, first for some time nd at least our gardens are going to enjoy the refreshment it brings. My bulbs are in flower, tiny daffodils and crocus at the front door and in the back lots of snowdrops and hellebores which are one of my absolute favourites.

I have had a morning of creating 3 cards for the boys using the same same stamp set and pack of papers which are" little black dress" but the stamp is old and I can't tell you who it is by.

A few for the boys !

Hi gang, hope you are all well. I had a cold a couple of weeks ago which led to the inevitable bronchitis but I am much better this week and got some of my oomph back! Laundry is a joy having taken delivery of a new washing machine that doesn't sound like a small jet plane revving for take off , having its bearings in place. It was ordered on Friday at 4.30pm and delivered at 9.15 Sunday morning, what service! Thanks everyne who shwed an interest in my cards , I am trying to keep up with the requests. I am in awe!

Camera Test

Although this post is just a test for the camera, this image is of notebook I made in a class by Louise Roache, she taught me ll I know about Copics and is a very clever lady!
I had a lovely birthday even though it had an unbelievably high number attached to it! Crafty Lou was demoing at  Sir Stampalot , when the list events showed this demo I couldn't believe my luck because Lou is one of my favourite designers and an inspiration to many I am sure. She is a lovely lady too of course, we all know that.

My daughter Jennie came with me, we share lots of similar interests and we had a few hours sharing our purchases. To my horror I find my C plate for my Cuttlebug may need relacing, none of my new dies worked yet last time I used it everything seemed fine. My gorgeous ( maybe a little biased here) granddaughters were being cared  for by their daddy  at home but we were both  missing them so after a while we all went to Jennie's and had a Chinese takeaway and birthday cake. My kind of day!

Jennie made me a beautiful concertina book for my birthday which she would not let me take to Sir Stampalot to show anyone so I am seriously considering showing it on here, afterall no-one will see it LOL ;-)

Wedding Samplers

Jennie and John

Kerry and Mark

Apologies for the photo quality but neither of these photos was taken for this blog!

Samplers

Another hobby of mine is cross stitch. For my eldest daughter's 16th birthday I made a small sampler about her interests to date, she loved it so I developed the idea further and have done a lot of them for friends and family special occassions. Sadly I don't have photographs of the first one or some of the others but here are a few. This first one is for Rachel obviously.

This is for Jennie who had just got her GCSE results, wish mine were as good!

This was for my Mum's 81st birthday I think. The flags spell out TOM, my Dad's name. He died in 1978 but was the love of her life.

These two cards are my next efforts. Both have a dusting of Prisma glitter which I don't seem to be without lately! I think the photographs are a bit better but I don't know how to improve them any nore. Any suggestions?
